Our Mission

Low Volume Legends exists to redefine what effective training looks like. We help busy beginners and intermediates build exceptional strength and muscle through simple, time-efficient, high-intensity training rooted in mastery of movement, controlled execution, and unwavering consistency. Our mission is to prove you don’t need long workouts or endless volume—you need precision, effort, and a system that respects your time while maximizing your results.

We envision a future where anyone—no matter their schedule, experience level, or limitations—can build a strong, muscular, and confident body using simple, time-efficient, high-intensity training. We aim to become a leader in low-volume strength coaching by combining proven training principles with intelligent automation, personalized programming, and world-class human coaching. Our long-term vision is to redefine the fitness industry with a model that prioritizes effort, precision, and sustainability over complexity and volume.

Our Core Values

  1. Intensity Over Volume - We prioritize effort, not exhaustion. True progress comes from focused, high-quality sets taken near or to failure—not from chasing unnecessary volume.

  2. Simplicity That Scales - Training shouldn’t be complicated. We remove the noise, teach clear principles, and deliver programs anyone can follow for life.

  3. Movement First - Control, technique, and intentional execution drive everything. Mastery of form makes high-intensity training safe, effective, and sustainable.

  4. Time-Efficiency as a Superpower - Great results don’t require hours in the gym. We build systems that deliver maximum stimulus with minimal time, empowering busy people to thrive.

  5. Consistency Above All - Long-term success is built on habits, not perfection. We create structures that you can stick to—no matter your schedule, experience, or obstacles.

  6. Data-Driven, Principle-Backed Progression - We track progress with clarity, apply progressive overload intelligently, and make adjustments only when needed. Every change has purpose.

  7. Individualized Simplicity - Your body, schedule, experience, and limitations matter. Programs remain simple, but always tailored—never cookie-cutter.

  8. Education That Empowers - We teach the “why” behind every decision so you can eventually train with confidence and autonomy—inside or outside our system.

  9. Recovery Is Part of Training - Sleep, nutrition, and stress management are treated as essential components of performance, not afterthoughts.

  10. Long-Term Health and Strength - Our goal isn’t short bursts of progress—it’s a lifetime of strength, resilience, and confidence, no matter your starting point or age.

Meet the Founders

Low Volume Legends was founded by twin brothers Devin and Kyle Alberts, lifelong athletes with a shared background in science, strength training, and systems thinking.

We grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, in an active household where our parents emphasized both education and physical activity. From a young age, we were involved in a wide range of sports and outdoor pursuits—soccer, martial arts, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, and extensive travel—which shaped our long-term appreciation for health, movement, and balance.

Academically, we’ve always been analytical by nature. We completed an Associate in Arts degree through an early college program while still in high school, then went on to major in Biochemistry at the University of Florida. By starting college early, we completed our degrees in just two years, graduating in May 2025 at age 19. Our academic training strengthened our problem-solving skills and reinforced the belief that complex systems—whether biological or physical—can be understood and improved with the right principles.

Our serious strength training journey began in September 2020, sparked by a school assignment that challenged us to change one habit for a week. We chose to train—and never stopped doing so consistently. Early training was minimal and imperfect, relying on calisthenics and limited equipment, with the usual beginner mistakes along the way. Over time, training began to click as we shifted toward high-intensity, progression-focused lifting, emphasizing fewer sets performed with greater intent.

That shift paid off. By age 17, both of us had surpassed three plates on the bench press, but more importantly, we had built a repeatable system for getting stronger without excessive time in the gym. Our progress hasn’t been perfectly linear—school, travel, illness, and inconsistent gym access forced us to adapt repeatedly. Those experiences reinforced a core belief that still defines our coaching today: effective training must work in real life, not just ideal conditions.

Today, our training reflects that philosophy fully—high intensity, low volume, controlled execution, and intelligent progression, with shorter, more focused sessions that prioritize balance, longevity, and full-body development.

Low Volume Legends exists because we saw a gap in the fitness industry. Too many people feel overwhelmed, short on time, or unsure whether they’re training hard enough to progress. Our goal is simple: teach people how to train effectively, efficiently, and safely, so they can get in, get out, and see real results.

Outside the gym, we spend our time traveling, skiing, hiking, biking, gaming, building this business, and spending time with family, friends, and our dog. Extensive travel—including long cycling trips across Europe, a three-month RV trip across the U.S., and 90 days backpacking through 25 European countries—has deeply shaped our perspective on health, adaptability, and sustainable habits.

At its core, Low Volume Legends reflects how we train and live: focused effort, intelligent systems, and long-term consistency over excess and noise.
